International student!
Being an international student in a foreign country can be both exciting and scary at the same time and maybe more of the later if its your first time away from home or if you're maybe just too much of a mama's baby.
On the exciting side, you get to meet a lot of interesting people who are most likely to be foreign students themselves. You might also meet some not soo interesting or nice people as well. You will have a chance to travel to very exotic places if you love to travel like myself. Engage in a lot of fun activities and do things you never dream of doing. You will also learn a lot about different cultures and other peoples' way of life and if you thought that you were an open minded person...now this will be the time you'll really find out and know for sure. And please, you need to keep an open mind about the food. The food can be good or really bad depending on your preferences so just learn to like it because that's what you'll be eating for sometime now and it will probably feel like forever . And one more thing about the food, you'll definitely learn how to cook if you didn't know how to do so before. You'll try soo hard to remember and try out your mom's favorite recipes that's if you can even remember the ingredients or worse if can even find the ingredients.
On the scary side, you got to miss home really badly and what's even more scary is not understanding the local language! Sometime you'll feel really alone even though you have a lot of nice friends.
It might take sometime to adjust into your new life and to feel settled. And you'll finally understand a little bit of the local language and can even try to unsuccessfully make conversations.
